The Lamborghini Gallardo has very stylish proportions, while still embodying the essence of the aggression normally associated with a Lambo. However, the lines are beginning to look a bit dated, as the supermodel has been on the market for some time now. If you own such a car and just can’t bear with the idea of not standing out in a parking lot, then the aftermarket world might have what you need.
German customizing specialist Prior Design has taken the lines of the ultimate Lambo in recent years, the Reventon that made its debut at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, and changed them to fit the Gallardo LP560.
The execution of the body kit and the overall fit and finish is excellent, but the idea of making one car look like another, especially one as rare as Reventon, seems a bit off. At the front, we have a completely new bumper that features huge rectangular air vents, flanking an air splitter. Despite borrowing to may of the Reventon’s features, the angular look fits the LP560 well.
Prior Design also fitted aerodynamic side skirts to enhance the profile, while at the back, we can enjoy everything a tuning package should come with and more: a small wing, a big diffuser and a few panels that give depth to the LP560’s otherwise flat backside. We don’t, however, like the diamond multifaceted area between the lights.
We have to comment Prior Design for coming up with this kit. No info has been made available regarding pricing, but the tuner says the mods are TUV-certified.
