Porsche Supermini Rendered… for the Giggles

Photo manipulator Theophilus Chin just released two images of what we can only describe as an Audi A1 with the face of a Porsche Macan. Why? Well, for starters it looks funny. But you don't spend hours in Photoshop just for the giggles, so there's a serious question to be asked here.
What if Porsche, in their infinite pursuit of niches they can exploit, will one day want a supermini as well. A platform would be readily available for them from Audi, just like it happened when they needed the Q5 architecture for the Macan.

Rumor had it that that Audi engineers just couldn't believe what Porsche could do with their engines and chassis. So I'd wager Stuttgart can make even the humble supermini stand up and demand attention. A 1.4 TFSI finally taken well over 200 horsepower? Yeah, why not!

The only problem is Porsche has lots of other project to finish before they can even think about this one. They're not just going to jump into Audi's parts bin and convert every car Ingolstadt has got.
