The Porsche Macan made its official debut yesterday and has managed to impress a lot of people. This poor man's Porsche SUV has the distinctive look needed for a car that is designed to appeal to younger buyers, but also packs a lot of practicality.
So now that we established turning an Audi Q5 into a Porsche is a good idea, what's next for the Macan? Well, it's likely going to get 2-liter turbo engines with less power, since the cheapest model is an S right now.

But how about a 3-door version? Land Rover's chopped Evoque has been doing well, and we love it because the roof has been chopped as well to give it more of a coupe look. Everybody in the premium segment is contemplating very large SUV model ranges, so why should Porsche stop at just two silhouettes?

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
