You know how they say you can polish money into a used car? Well, Porsche did that with a brand new car, the Cayenne. The Platinum Edition model was revealed today, a nicely equipped version of the V6 or V6 Diesel base models.
There's nothing particularly exciting about the model, but trim levels are quite good. You get standard bi-xenon, tinted glass, 19-inch wheels with colored crests and more. The distinctive color for the Platinum edition is Silver Metallic, but others are available upon request.
Moving on to the interior, all special edition models boast partial leather seats, a SportDesign steering wheel and standard PCM with navigation. The only real way to tell this is a special edition is to look at the "Platinum Edition" floor mats and the special floor mats with beige bezels.
Prices in Germany start at €66,375 for the V6 petrol with 300 hp and 400 Nm. There's also a version for the Cayenne Diesel that sells for €67,212 and comes with a 245 hp turbodiesel.
