We don't know if the Macan is still the best-selling Porsche model because the Cayenne has had a few really good months. But there's something magical about this pint-sized SUV, which could be lost the successor model goes fully electric. Perhaps it's not all bad if it looks like the Taycan and drag races like a Tesla.
The Macan has been bought by people who normally wouldn't consider a Porsche, those who just wanted an SUV with arguably one of the best badges in the world. But they got more than their bargained for, an effervescence most models of this tyle lack, plus Porsche's awesome engines.

Yes, they are only V6 units, but nobody makes engines quite like Porsche, especially not Audi. That's why we were a little sad with the changes after the facelift, even though it meant more power. In any case, because it's of a manageable size, the Macan received much more hardcore tuning.

It was a long time ago, but some of you may remember the Prior Design widebody kit, of which we were immediately reminded when we saw this set of renderings by Rostislav Prokop. They feature fender extensions that have to cover the doors as well, since this is a shorter body.

But the artist has taken things much further than that with his creation, "installing" Rotiform deep-dish alloy wheels with a polished lip and slamming the Macan down to the ground. Hey, it's not like you were using it for off-roading!

Probably the most extreme part of this transformation is the quad exhaust system, which kind of resembles that of a C7 Corvette. Also, the Porsche low-rider sports a number of added aero elements to increase its downforce. No such race car exists, but we did discover a sexy high-riding cross country rally car with lifted suspension and other serious mods. Do check it out below.
