Porsche Consulting has implemented efficient management strategies, tested in the production of premium sports vehicles, in a wide variety of business sectors, including public administration.
“Thanks to this new location, we are now closer to our South American clients and can better develop very interesting markets on site. As an experienced specialist for process optimization, we are seeing an enormous demand for consulting services in this rapidly growing and developing economy,” said Eberhard Weiblen, Chairman of the Management Board.
The company aims to increase efficiency by eliminating redundant activities, such as unnecessary stock keeping and long waiting times. In addition to that, it uses concepts the allow the business process to flow, allowing partners to develop viable strategies that assure an efficient future.
“Brazilian companies are frequently very well positioned when it comes to strategy and financial management. But I see potential for improving processes in administration, increasing quality, and, above all, in interacting with suppliers. The new subsidiary plans to make its clients more efficient and flexible. Initially, it will handle companies from the production sector, but its overall target also includes hospitals, the construction industry and the logistics sector. The founding team in Sao Paulo consists of 12 Brazilian and German employees, who are led by Jurgen Lochner. The executive has been serving Porsche Consulting since 1998.
