Porsche Advertising Film Awards 2010 Winners Announced

As the main title sponsor for the Porsche International Student Advertising Film Award, the German manufacturer announced today the awards for the 2010 edition, after a ceremony which took place yesterday in the Baden-Wuerttemberg Film Academy, in Ludwigsburg.

This year, the big winner of the competition was Marie Dvorakova of the Tisch School of the Arts from the New York University. Her spot, Steenbeckstory, was chosen by the jury (which comprised Lyndy Stout, Michael M. Maschke and Ralph Herforth) as the best from an otherwise interesting palette of adverting films.

“Today, we must be more flexible than ever – foremost in our minds. Their creative entries show that we are on the right course. They have superbly realized forceful ideas – and have convinced us”, said Stefan Büscher, Marketing Communication manager at Porsche.

This year, there were 96 works entered by students from film, design and art schools from 17 countries. 41 advertising spots came from Germany alone, the best represented nation, followed by the Netherlands with 21.

Below is the list of the ten films that have been chosen from all the entries.
