While this may be difficult to believe, it seems there are at least two Rosso Corsa-finished Rennsport Neunelfers in the US. One of them, which came to our attention thanks to Redditor Landanbananaman, comes from the Gaudin Porsche dealer in Las Vegas (the said Redditor works for the dealership).
Aside from the main image, you can also see the track special in the Instagram pic below, but the car hadn't received its side decal when that shot was taken.
As for the second Rosso Corsa 991 GT3 RS, this has shown up at Sunset Porsche in Beaverton, Oregon and you can also find a pic of the no-decal machine below.
Apparently, the almost-infinite possibilities of the Paint To Sample program see the Y81 code being associated with Rosso Corsa. This obviously means turning to Zuffenhausen's Porsche Exclusive arm when configuring the Neunelfer. And this is where the potential drawback of such a move shows up - due to the limited availability of the GT3 RS (the model won't make it to the 2017 line-up), a Paint To Sample model can end up costing north of $370,000 - expecting to grab such a 911 derivative for its $175,900 MSRP may be a bit unrealistic, but paying twice as much is not the best solution, either.
Do keep in mind that we're only talking about the pair of US-driven 911 GT3 RS model that have surfaced so far, which means there could be more rear-engined, Ferrari trolling tools out there.
