Bad news from France: a police officer from the Brigade Anti-Criminalite (BAC) in Rosny-sous-Bois, France, was killed after the bike he was riding was crashed into by a car whose driver did not give priority.
The policeman, 35, and whose name was not disclosed by Le Figaro, was flung over to the ground, hit his head against the pavement and was killed instantly.
The police officer, part of a 3-person group had stopped a motorcycle whose rider and pillion were riding without helmets. The bike was confiscated and the two have been transported to the police station.
The 35-year old cop decided to ride the bike himself to the same point, but was cut off by a car exiting a parking, and lost his life in the subsequent accident.
The two persons on the bike have been arrested, and the French newspaper does not specify what became of the driver responsible for this tragic event. Via Motorbiker.
