Peugeot to Hold 508 Commercial Launch in Geneva

The Geneva Auto Show is almost ready to open its gates and allow visitors to enjoy a flood of vehicles that cater for any imaginable transportation need. One of the automotive producers that promises to offer a complex range of developments at the event is Peugeot. The company has prepared multiple goodies for the show, including the commercial launch of the 508

"With the new 508, Peugeot reaffirms its ambitions in one of its traditional strong holds, the large touring car segment," stated the press release.

The French carmaker has big plans for the 508, one of which is to strengthen its overall position on the market, not only in the vehicle's segment. The car will enter the European markets in April and will hit the Chinese market in July.

"With the 508, Peugeot continues its international objectives: produced in France (Rennes) for all markets except China, it will also be manufactured in its Saloon version in China (Wuhan), ready to go on sale from July 2011 on the world’s fastest growing car market," stated the press release.

"With the offer of a Saloon or SW body styles, a wide choice of economic petrol and diesel engines ranging from 112 to 204 bhp and its innovative equipment, the 508 is a modern car fully attuned to the aspirations of dynamic, demanding and responsible customers."
