Last year, Peugeot brought a really cool new 208 GTi hot hatch to the Geneva Motor Show. It was the talk of the town, so naturally we wondered what sort of lineup we'd be seeing from the lion brand in 2014.
The official announcement made earlier today states 28 production and concept cars will be on full display. One of them will be the new 108 A-segment hatchback, which will be shown in both normal 3- and 5-door form, and the new TOP! Cabrio with a roll-back roof.

Also a world premiere at Peugeot's stand, the 308 SW will also be a world premiere. It's based on the normal hatch, nut mosts a significant increase in cargo space and is 140 kg lighter than the car it replaces.

Peugeot will also have a brand new 1.2-liter turbo engine on display from a new "PureTech e-THP" family. It will be available with either 110 or 130 hp and is fitted with "high pressure direct injection and a next-generation high-efficiency turbo".

Also on the Peugeot stand in Geneva, the BlueHDi diesel engine technology which will soon find its way into many new models from the 308 and 508 range. Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
