Nine of the models were created for the Fast and Furious movie released in April 2009, but this custom-built Skyline GT-R 34 was the only real Nissan Paul Walker drove in the fourth installment of the famous series. While the eight other vehicles were all stunt cars fitted on VW Beetle chassis, this particular model not only is an original, but was enhanced to a whole new level of performance.
The blue monster is powered by a modified twin-turbo 2.6-liter straight-six engine with a Turbonetics front mounted intercooler. We’re talking about an all wheel drive and all wheel steering, pushed by a 550 horsepower engine working its way through a 6-speed manual transmission. It’s every driver’s dream come true. Even though the Nissan never belonged to him, it was specially built for and driven by Paul Walker during the movie.

With only 6,000 kilometers done, this baby is almost new, but there is a lot more about it than just that. Nismo lowering springs, custom roll cage, ARC titanium strut tower bar are just some of the features the car comes with.

Hypercar money for celebrity car

Currently located in Munich Germany, the owners claim they have a 40-page detailed “appraisal from a well known accredited appraisal company documenting the built and movie car history indicating a value range between EUR750,000 and 5 million ($922,000 and $6,1 million)”. Yep, we’re talking about a custom-built Nissan GT-R that would cost you almost hypercar money.

Unfortunately the inevitable did happen and it would seem there is no more restraint towards auto dealers taking somewhat advantage over Paul Walker’s popularity. And it’s not only about those who currently own one of the cars the late actor drove in his movies, but it would seem the movie industry is doing something similar.

After all Furious 7, the latest installment of the famous series, was finished even though the actor passed away in the horrible accident in November, 2013. Moreover, rumors are producers are getting ready for at least two more movies to come.
