GM has been hatching at this project for a long time now, and finally it has managed to make no less than three small SUVs out of the same vehicle. This is the Chevrolet version called the Trax, enjoying its world debut at the Paris Motor Show in the company of one of the most beautiful stand attendents that Paris has this year.
But why is the Trax kitted out in football gear? It’s because the this Trax edition is dedicated to the recently launched football team sponsorship from the bowtie brand. The SUV comes fully kitted out with bright logos outside and leather seats with Manchester United logos on the headrests.
The Trax will be Chevrolet’s first B-segment SUV. It will arrive in Europe with an engine lineup that includes a 1.4L turbocharged gasoline unit, a 1.6L gasoline engine as well as a 1.7L turbo-diesel engine. The 1.6-liter is a base engine, the 1.4 offers the same 140 hp as in any other Opel or Chevy model, but the pick of the bunch is the 130 hp diesel, which offers a very impressive 300 Nm of torque.
