A video showing pop boy band One Direction members smoking a rolled cigarette has emerged today. It would appear Zayn Malik and his fellow bandmate, Louis Tomlinson, share a marijuana joint while traveling in an SUV on the streets of Lima, Peru.
Probably shocking for all those 16-year old fans that thought this British youngsters wouldn’t go all Bieber-ish on them, but this guys were definitely enjoying their trip. In fact, it seems the leaked clip was filmed on the day the band had their show at Peru’s Estadio Nacional in Lima, on April 27th.
Released by MailOnline, the movie has the 22-year old band member Louis Tomlinson, as an narrator, behind the camera. While a police officer on a motorcycle pass by the van, every once in a while, he goes: “So here we are, leaving Peru. Joint lit. Happy days!” After that he asks his 21-year old mate Zayk Malik, who is alongside him in the SUV “What do you think about that kind of content?”
As a matter a fact, the police officer riding the motorbike is escorting the band’s convoy, so that makes the pop celebrities’s gesture even more scandalous as they go: “That’s the police. That’s the po po. One-nil” after which he coughs and a cloud of smoke floats across the camera lens.
But this incident is not really the only one that got the British band in trouble with the law. According to Hollywoodbackstage.com, the two celebrities were smoking marijuana while they were on a break from their North American “Take me home tour.”
Oh well, it’s known artists need their kick to get into the zone and perform, so we can’t really say we are surprised. However, there is one thing we can tell you and that is about the car.
