Princess Anna doesn't claim to be ultra-sophisticated, technologically innovative or futuristic. It's a modern pleasure craft designed to become a family-friendly home away from home with beautiful Italian styling.
Princess Anna isn't a young vessel, which is why it underwent multiple refits throughout its life. Delivered two decades ago, the custom yacht was later refitted in 2007, 2013, and, most recently, in 2021. The latter was a multi-million-dollar investment that upgraded Princess Anna to contemporary standards and transformed its interior into a wonderful floating beach house.

Formerly known as Bajalu, Princess Anna is now fully worthy of its delicate new name. The interior style shows a flawless balance between contemporary minimalism and subtle glamour. White oak panels and ceilings create the illusion of vast spaces, further brightened by large windows that allow plenty of natural light. A soft, neutral palette is complemented by plush textures and delicate accents that help create a warm, informal atmosphere.

The GRP vessel was originally styled by the acclaimed Francois Zuretti, Tommaso Spadolini, and the late Paolo Scanuto were in charge of the exterior design, and the yacht was built in Italy by Intermarine.

One of the most spectacular areas on board is the main salon. Unlike typical superyacht salons, this one boasts two lounge areas in addition to the standard formal dining room. One of these lounges reveals an elegant piano cleverly integrated into the cabinetry. The other one was designed to face a huge TV screen – the perfect setup for family time in the afternoon. Large windows frame the entire salon, delighting guests with panoramic views.

The spacious and elegant salon leads to the formal dining room. As its name suggests, this is the most stylish and refined area on board, which is suitable for larger social gatherings and fancy gourmet dinners.

A huge oval table steals the spotlight, offering seating for up to 12 people, while a stunning Lalique chandelier adds a touch of royal elegance. Sliding doors and an electrically operated opaque screen were the modern elements added to this sumptuous area. They help separate the dining room from the salon for added privacy.

Up on the sun deck, guests are welcomed by another family-friendly setup. The large jacuzzi is big enough for everyone, flanked by a modern semi-circular bar. Forward on the same deck, a spacious outdoor cinema is set up for watching movies under the stars.

As elegant as it is, Princess Anna exudes the relaxed comfort of a typical home. Part of that has to do with the large TV screens throughout that invite everyone on board to watch a game or a movie together. In addition to the 100" TV in the main media lounge and the outdoor cinema on the sun deck, the bridge deck features another giant screen. This is the main area for al-fresco dining. Just like the formal dining room, this dining spot also comes with a generous table that can seat up to 12 people.

In the evening, the stylish skylounge offers the ultimate setup for cocktails and games. The sit-up bar is covered in precious white marble and leather. Large sofas and a stylish table invite guests to relax and have fun with board games. Princess Anna also sports a decent-size beach club with a generous sunbathing area and easy access to the water toys (among them, a 36-foot Cigarette chase boat boasting 500 hp and a luxurious 16-foot Castoldi jet tender).

At 147 feet (44.8 meters) and with a generous volume for its size, Princess Anna can accommodate ten guests across five cabins. The stylish full-beam master suite occupies the standard position on the main deck, with the remaining cabins located on the lower deck. Two of them are doubles, with king-sized beds, and the other two come with twin beds for a flexible configuration.

All of them feature glamorous marble-clad en-suite bathrooms and the latest entertainment systems. The sumptuous owner's suite flaunts a classic layout with a private office, a walk-in wardrobe, and separate bathrooms.

In 2021, Princess Anna underwent a comprehensive refit. Its interiors were refreshed, and all onboard systems were upgraded. The twenty-year-old yacht now sports refurbished teak decks, new generators, and optimized systems throughout (including Starlink). The main engines were also overhauled, and in 2022, the yacht successfully completed its twenty-year class survey.

You might be surprised to learn that the dainty-looking Princess Anna crossed the Atlantic more than 18 times during its 21 years of life. It can hit up to 16 knots (29.6 kph) and has a proven transatlantic range of 3,850 nautical miles (7,100 km).

Although packed with coveted qualities, Princess Anna didn't enjoy steady ownership. It changed hands multiple times, more recently this month. It was sold after a significant price drop back in July ($1 million) for somewhere around $7.5 million. The 2002 Intermarine is also a popular charter yacht with weekly rates starting at $133,000.
