Nissan Sends PLUG on Journey in Zero Emissions World

Nissan recently wished the all-electric Nissan Leaf a happy birthday by creating a short little video of some wall sockets singing. Now they’ve released something altogether more interesting - a feature film of a character called PLUG through a land of zero emissions.
“This is a story about a planet that is very similar to Earth set in the not too distant future. There, the inhabitants live peacefully for as long as forever by creating electricity-like energy from their sun and winds and sharing it with each other. Take a peek at the daily lives of PLUG and his friends. Enjoy!” Nissan says.

We’re not totally in love with the idea, but the feature film is long and relatively entertaining, having a clear Japanese touch to it. It has romance, adventure, heartbreak and comedy. The aim of the Planet Zero video is to get the younger generations to "enjoy leaning a zero-emission society which Nissan aims for and the value and the appeal EV will bring about."

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
