Nissan doesn’t sell the Infiniti brand in Japan, and thus they have taken the recently released M35hL and they’ve changed the grille and a few minor details. The car will be sold in Japan as the Nissan Cima, a familiar name as it has been used on luxury models in the past.
The car will only be available as a hybrid, using Nissan’s 3.5-liter V6 coupled to a small electric motor. The total output of 306 hp is sent to the back using a 7-speed automatic gearbox. Old Nissan Cimas used to feature V8 engines, but they have been dropped in an effort to reduce emissions.

The car is a Japan domestic market car only and Nissan plans to sell around 1000 per year at a cost of ¥7,350,000 ($90,000/€68.000).
