One of the coolest hot rods to come out of Nissan's Nismo workshop is the based on Juke and uses a 1.6-liter engine to deliver almost as much power as a Golf GTI. And unlike the Vdub, you can get one with all-wheel drive as well, which gave Nissan the bright idea of fitting the car with a set of four snow tracks, like the ones on Ken Block's RaptorTRAX and the Snowareg.
The Juke Nismo RSsnow made a surprise debut today on Nissan's Twitter account. With America gripped by snow these days, it's easy to imagine that the GT-R makers built this car because they care for the people hurt by the Snowmagedon. However, it was actually built for fun by some crazy folks from Scandinavia, just like the Snowareg.

A Finnish company took the an all-wheel drive Juke Nismo RS, which has a CVT gearbox, and added a set of tracks built by a company called American Tack Truck. We've checked out their website and found a whole bunch of Chevys, Jeeps and even a Hummer that had been kitted out.

Unfortunately, the Juke's subcompact proportions meant that some recesses had to be cut into the bumpers in order for the tracks to clear and the less lock had to be dialed into the steering system. And considering that the rubber tracks will only hold up to about 40 miles per hour, using the 218 hp Nismo RS seems like total overkill.

So besides a Juke and VW Touareg, what other SUV would you like to see fitted with tracks?
