Nissan Note Gets Extra Equipment for 2011

After doing the same with the Qashqai range last week, the British division of Nissan today announced it has also made several enhancements to the 2011 Note. For example, changes made to the exterior design include silver painted door handles and a silver finish for the tailgate trim, complemented by fashionable gloss black B and C-pillars (for both Acenta and Teckna grades), or a new front spoiler finisher and front entry guards (for the n-tec).

The Acenta variants have also been fitted with a new audio system, while safety is also enhanced with ESP now fitted as standard on Acenta, Tekna and n-tec variants. In the top spec Tekna’s equipment list, Nissan’s Intelligent Key is now standard.

The standard n-tec kit list comes with climate control, auto lighting and auto wipers, while a new interior trim colour is also available. This is in addition to the n-tec’s existing standard Connect satellite navigation and audio system, 16-inch alloy wheels and privacy glass.

“Perhaps the best news is that the increase in equipment has had no impact on the Note’s price list. The price of every Note has remained unchanged, which will help it to maintain its impressive UK sales chart position. This is not only great news for Nissan buyers but also a boost for UK manufacturing, as every Note is built at Nissan’s Sunderland plant,” a company statement reads.

In the Note’s engine room, both 1.4 and 1.6-litre petrol engines comply with the latest Euro V emissions regulations. While the price list stays the same, the 2011 Note sees the addition of two new metallic colours, Magnetic Red and Grey.
