Nissan has today announced officials details about the eagerly anticipated arrival of the Juke crossover in Australia. This includes prices, specs and trim levels, in preparation of the on-sale debut in October 2013.
The basic Juke model will be one of the cheapest cars of its type sold in Australia, starting at AU$21,990 before on-road taxes ($24,965 drive-away estimated).

This is for the basic ST, which comes with a manual transmission and a 1.6-liter petrol four-cylinder rated at 86 kW and 158 Nm. If you want a CVT with that instead of a manual, it will cost you AU$2400 extra.

Two more trim levels are available with the Juke, the ST-S 2WD at AU$28,390 and the Ti-S AWD, which only has the CVT and tops the range with AU$32,190. Both come with the 1.6-liter turbo engine rated at 140 kW and 240 Nm, also available in the Nissan Pulsar SSS in Australia.

“This is an exciting, fun-to-drive car that we expect will bring many new customers to Nissan,” said Peter Clissold, Executive General Manager of Marketing at Nissan Australia.

“I’m confident Australian buyers of Small SUVs will find the all-new JUKE to be exceptional value. Each grade in the JUKE model range has a compelling mix of standard equipment in a vehicle rich in stand-out styling and dynamic performance."
