If you’re among the few persons to like experimental asymmetric designed vehicles, we have some bad news for you. You might not be able to buy a new Nissan Cube in 2015.
Nissan recently announced the model year changes for its 2015 models in the US, but the Cube is nowhere to be found among them, with slow sales pushing the company to probably axe it next year.

The current model is still on sale, with the basic Cube S version starting at $16,900 and coming with a 122 bhp 1.8-liter gasoline engine mated to a CVT, 15-inch steel wheels with covers, privacy glass, leather wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, remote keyless entry and tire pressure monitoring system.

On the other hand, its main rival Kia Soul starts at $14,900 being fitted with a smaller 1.6-liter gasoline engine that makes 130 bhp and is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox that makes it less dead. Standard features include heated/power mirrors, privacy glass, 16-inch steelies with covers, 6-speaker audio system with SiriusXM and multiple connectivity, Bluetooth, cruise control, Eco mode, remote keyless entry and more.

Now you can see why the Soul makes for a better choice, selling 118,079 units last year, while the Cube topped out its sales in 2010 with 22,968 units, leaving it to be remembered just as a funky experiment.
