Look at those beauties! They're class, style, beauty at the purest level. If Jerry Seinfeld wasn't the person taking the selfie, we’d say he ruined what could have been a perfect classic car line-up photograph. But he did it for a reason, mind you; he’s subtly announcing that a new season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is coming soon.
So far, the car show in which Jerry Seinfeld is talking jokes with his fellow comedians has been received with mixed critics. The online show did manage to win the Producers Guild of America Award during the Outstanding Digital Series category this year, an award that sits next to not one, but two Primetime Emmy Award nominations from 2014 and 2013.
We’re enjoying the show so far, for both the exclusive vehicles Jerry manages to get and the great celebrities, who are pulling some hilarious gigs while driving on the busy streets of LA. Stephen Colbert was the last guest on season's 6 final episode that aired this July. Dubbed “Cut Up and Bloody but Good Looking,” the episode saw the two renowned comedians riding in a 1964 Morgan Plus Four.
Ever since, there hasn’t been much of Seinfeld on the world wide web. It’s been recently announced that the former star of “Seinfeld” will return December 26 and 27, bringing his stand-up act to the Colosseum at the Caesars Palace. Sure, that’s not much of a surprise for the actor’s fans since he has been a headliner at the Colosseum since December 2003.
Whether the first month of winter will be the first time we get to have a good laugh with Seinfeld or there’s going to be something going on before that, we don’t know. We can tell you this much, though, the next season in Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is going to have a 1971 Porsche 911, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro and a 1972 BMW in the line-up.
