On sale since 2009, the second-generation Chevrolet Spark minicar is scheduled to get a complete makeover in 2015. According to Automotive News, the new Spark will debut in the first half of 2015 and will continue to be built in South Korea.
Meanwhile, the redesigned Chevrolet Aveo (Sonic in the United States), initially announced as a 2015 release, will reportedly be delayed for 2016. "The management said it originally planned to launch the redesigned Aveo in late 2015, but the plan was pushed back. It also said it will produce the new Spark in the first half of 2015," a South Korean labor union spokesman said earlier this week.

The Spark is Chevrolet’s best-selling mode in Europe, while Aveo is the third-best selling bowtie-badged model after the Cruze. The Chevrolet Spark was introduced on the US market last year.
