Let’s be honest about it, almost everybody uses GasBuddy, and it’s not like there are too many worthy alternatives out there.
Specifically built to help find the cheapest gas around, GasBuddy comes with dedicated apps on Android and iPhone that bring all these features to all users even on the go, which is obviously super-useful because you can check out gas prices before getting behind the wheel.

It goes without saying that keeping these apps up-to-date with new features and additional fixes is pretty important, and this is what the parent company seems to be doing these days.

The official GasBuddy app has recently received new updates on both Android and iPhone, and despite the developing team not releasing a changelog, installing the latest versions is still recommended.

First of all, the Android version. GasBuddy is now at version 6.1.90 on Google’s mobile operating system after the latest May 20 update. As said, there are no release notes for this update, so we can assume it’s all about polishing things even further.

The GasBuddy team has been a lot busier with the iOS version of the app this month. Version 6.2.50 officially landed on May 4, followed by a small revision to version 6.25.1 two days later. On May 12, GasBuddy was updated to version 6.26.0, while build 6.26.1 was published on May 17.

Eventually, GasBuddy version 6.27.0 was launched on May 18 as the most recent version of the app. The changelog points to the same improvements as in the previous update.

This release gives thousands of lucky GasBuddies the opportunity to save hundreds of dollars with better car insurance. Update the app and head to the home screen to find out if you’re one of them,” the changelog of the latest update reads.

Of course, you are still recommended to get the latest versions as soon as possible, so use these links to download GasBuddy for Android and iPhone.
