The diluted hot hatch formula of the Leon FR has been spiced up a bit with a "carbon look" chin spoiler, side skirts and rear bumper skirt. We'll let you decide if these modes are cool or not, but we'll tell you the Germans also sell a big tailgate-mounted spoiler, a stainless steel sports exhaust system and lowering springs.

Not being happy with just cosmetic mods, they've also played with the engine and found the 1.8-liter TSI turbo had more to give: 215 PS instead of the stock 180 PS and 300 Nm instead of 250 Nm. They say this enables the car to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and reach a much higher top speed of 235 km/h.
