The recently-unveiled Mercedes-Benz W222 S63 AMG, when paired with the optional 4Matic all-wheel drive system, is currently the fastest production version S-Class in history. At least until the new S65 twin-turbo V12 gets unleashed on unsuspecting Monaco, London or Dubai streets.
Until that happens though, Mercedes-AMG decided to keep the attention on the twin-turbo V8 S63. They released a new, more like extended teaser/trailer, for the car on their official Youtube channel.
We couldn't help but notice that the silver S63 AMG featured in the footage below is the exact same car that appears in all the official photos that AMG has released with the model so far.
The color, rims model, optional ceramic brakes with gold-painted calipers and last, but no least, the license plate are all identical to the press photos – which you can enjoy in the adjacent exhaustive gallery.
In the rare and pretty much impossible case that the W222 S63 AMG is news for you, keep in mind we're talking about a twin-turbo, direct injection, 5.5-liter V8 under the hood, which can give the massive luxo-barge a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration of 4.4 seconds. Those figures can drop to four seconds flat when the car uses the optional 4Matic all-wheel drive system.
