With endless supplies of spyshots at our fingertips, we don’t really need more teasing o the next generation A-Class, but at least Mercedes has now made it abundantly clear that the premium hatchback will really make its debut at the Geneva MOtor Show in March.
So what is this strange video all about? Well, to create hype around its small car and the new proportions it offers, Mercedes is starting a competition of sorts. Several A-Class models will be covered up in this strange wrap and sent about in various German cities. You have to upload an app next month and take a snap of the Quick Response (QR) code on the side of the car. The competition winner will get a trip for two to the new A-Class’ unveiling.
The new A-Class is bigger and more masculine than the old one. It will also have a sportier image, since Mercedes will turn it into their first hothatch, powered by a 2.0-liter turbo with about 300 hp.
