New Maserati "The Face" Ad Has Models Running in Heels

We don't know much about the world of fashion, but we do know a good commercial when we see it. This, however, doesn't look like a good commercial.

According to the official word from Maserati, their new Quattroporte starred last night in the 5th episode of a TV series called "The Face". We presume this is a little bit like "The Voice", but with supermodels.

The supermodel mentors try to find the ultimate new girl, who will win a contract with make-up giant Max Factor. Last night's challenge was to make the best commercial for Maserati, and this one, created by Naomi Campbell's team, won.

In the short and quite strange ad, The Face finalists Emma Holmes (photo right) and Racquel Smith (photo left) are drawn in by the Italian stallion. "Wearing stunning couture dresses by Iris van Herpen, 17 year old student Emma Holmes from Kent and 22 year old, fierce and feisty Jamaican Racquel Smith, begin running faster and faster towards the luxury four door saloon, racing each other to reach it first as it ‘demands to be driven" Maserati explains.

What we want to know is: Do you guys like it, or is it a waste of time and money?

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
