New Maserati Quattroporte Spied on the Fiorano Track

With the Q1 2013 launch of the new Qattroporte by Maserati drawing ever closer, we are happy to report that the car has been spotted numerous times undergoing various testing procedures, on the road and on track. We hope that with this much testing going into the car, it will be both good looking and a proper good fun car to rival the Germans.
Its predecessor is a good looking car - one of the best four-door sedans designed in a long time, however, it does not excel at anything else, lacking the kind of technological finesse which the Germans are renowned for. We hope, however, that the new car will be both beautiful (more than plausible) and technically competent (we hope).

The car was recently spotted by Marchettino on Ferrari’s test track, the Fiorano. The Quattroporte is fully camouflaged and apart from the wheels, nothing is really visible. Furthermore, some people have suggested that one of the cars in the video, may be a diesel (which is genuinely happening, wheter we like it or not), definitely a V6, not a V8 which is also present in the video as a different mule which has a clear V8 sound note (around the 0:30 mark).
