Kia has already confirmed the all-new Sorento SUV will make its debut in Seoul later this month. But that doesn't mean they can't eek out every last bit of media attention using teasers, like this one that shows the interior of the 7-seater SUV for the very first time.
Promising to deliver "dramatic quality improvements", the new Sorento's cabin will feel better screwed together and designed. Kia is promising to deliver a "wrap-around dashboard, high quality soft-touch materials and a range of advanced on-board technologies."

The Sorento is an international project that needs to appeal to many types of customers. Interior styling was led by the brand’s design team in Frankfurt, Germany, who were reportedly influence by Swiss watches. The big surprise here is the automatic gearbox's shifter, which is chunky and flat on top, reminding us of the recent Mercedes designs. The central screen appears to be 8 inches wide and will support music, movies and navigation. Having no dials for the speedometer and rev counter, the teaser photo might suggest Kia will offer an optional digital screen, much like some German SUVs.

After the Korean debut at the end of August, the third generation Sorento will be shown at the Paris Motor Show on October 2nd. However, the actual market launch won't come until next year. Building on the success of its predecessor, the new Sorento will offer better looks, a new platform and more economical engines.
