New In-Car Inverter from Ring Automotive

Ring Automotive just launched the MP:120 compact inverter in the UK, supplied with optional hook and eye tape to securely fix it. According to the manufacturer, the unit is manufactured from scratchproof, shock-resistant ABS to match quality car interiors. For safety, the inverter incorporates overload circuit protection to protect the vehicle, the powered appliance and, of course, the consumer.

The MP:120 also comes with a USB charging point to recharge mobile phones and MP3 players while at the same time using the 240v AC mains power.

We all know that when traveling and using portable devices the most common problem that can occur is running out of power.

And since we became more and more addicted to portable electronic devices such as laptops, Blackberrys, mobile phones and PSPs, the need for adapters for keeping such gadgets fully charged has increased in recent years.

But multiple special in-car adapters for all your electrical equipment can be an expensive option, so it is for the best to use an inverter, that provides 240v AC main power from a 12v DC supply.

The inverter can be plugged into the cigarette lighter socket and therefore benefit of 240V AC electricity supply for charging the devices while on the road.

“The MP:120 takes inverter technology to another level. Combining a sleek compact design, flexibility of positioning and a powerful output makes the MP:120 an ideal match for the top-range gadgets being charged,”
Ring AUtomotive Commercial Manager Simon Harvey said in a release.

The MP:120 has a MSRP of £34.99 in the UK.
