We here tend to like pretty much all the custom parts Harley-Davidson make for their nifty bikes, but every now and then, some of them seem just meaningless pimping and a waste of money. Without any intention to make anyone feel bad about liking te new Screamin' Eagle Laser Exhaust Shield Kit, we have to say it looks silly. Neat, but silly.
Hoever, if you've just found $300 (€228) in the back pocket of old jeans you planned to throw away and feels like there's no better to use for the money, these shields could do. They might turn a head or two, but honestly, we've seen so much better from the Milwaukee designers, let alone other aftermarket parts manufacturers.
The Screamin' Eagle Laser Exhaust Shield Kit are a direct, sure-to-fit replacement for the factory ones and come with laser-cut opening filled with metal mesh. Available in chrome with chrome screens and Jet Black Ceramic with stainless steel mesh, they'll fit Screamin' Eagle silencers. That is if you still haven't found other use for $300.
