The Sandero Stepway is perhaps the best looking out of all the cars launched by Dacia in Paris last week. The tank-like front end combines with a robust side profile to give the car a feeling of safety and protection. The body has been raised a bit and the proportions created this way are strong.
The Stepway is a jacked up version of the Sandero, but it’s not offered with all-wheel drive at all. What makes it different is the raised suspension, raised suspension, larger wheels, plastic body cladding, as well as chunky plastic roof rails.
The engine range is made up of the same units as the new Logan and Sandero: a 1.2-liter 75 hp engine at the bottom of the range, rising to either a 0.9-liter TCe 90 unit or the 1.5-liter DCi diesel, also with 90 hp.
