After having recently gotten our hands on a leaked photo portraying the posterior of the next-gen BMW M3, the Internet has now brought us yet another leak, with the front end being highlighted this time around.
Half the Internet will be in shock after checking out this pic, which seems to show the super-sedan inside the factory - despite the photo not dropping any clues on this, we're only assuming this is the M3 and not the M4 since the four-door is closer to its release.

Sure, this pic could always be fake, but a BMW insider has recently confirmed to autoevolution that the big grilles of the Concept 4 are coming to town.

The other half of the same Internet will understand that the super-sized grilles dominating the front end of the recent BMW Concept 4 (check this out in the gallery above)  meant we should've seen this coming. Sure, those ginormous openings previewed the two-door incarnation(s) of the platform, but it's only normal for the carmaker to keep the noses of the future M3 and M4 consistent.

And there are two more reasons that motivate this non-fretting camp. At least when it comes to the 4 series, the massive kidney grilles seem to be much more of a fit then in the case of the 7 Series and the X7, with the sporty silhouette of the two-door actually resembling the classic BMWs that saw their grilles stretching vertically across the entire nose.

Then there's the fact that Audi has used massive grilles for quite a while now, so the only difference would be the now-partial split that defines the kidney shape used by BMW.

Regardless, the hood of the photographed car is raised, so we can't see if the bulges that continued the lines of the kidney grilles on the concept have made it to production. But this is also likely to happen.

For the record, the leaked image of the 2020/2021 BMW M3's rear end can be found in the gallery above. And while there's a lot going on at the back of the German toy, at least the styling seems to fall in line with the front end cues we have here.

On the tech front, the G80 M3 promises to have something for every taste. The firepower will be provided by the twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six that debuted on the X3 M and X4 M, with the motor delivering up to 510 in Competition trim, at least on the said crossovers.

A manual transmission will definitely be offered as an option, while the also-optional xDrive AWD rumors are growing stronger and stronger.

Expect to meet the new M3 in the following months, with its market debut set to take place next year.
