Aston Martin is a carmaker with a global presence, but it very rarely happens for it to reveal a brand-new model in locations outside its home country. Yet next week the Brits will pull the wraps off a new model one ocean and a continent away during the Monterey Car Week.
At the time of writing the details on the new model are non-existent, and the only thing we've got from Aston Martin is that we will witness a world-first debut of a new model. The unveiling will take place on August 18 in Pebble Beach and, naturally, it got us all worked up in anticipation. Especially when thinking about what the company has been up to lately.

You see, Aston Martin is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year, so it was only natural for it to mark the occasion with some exciting releases. And we've got several of them already to keep us curious as to what we'll see next week.

The new vehicle to be shown over in the U.S. will be accompanied there by the Valour. Shown at the beginning of last month, this machine will be part of a production run limited to just 110 units. Each of them will be built on the same platform as the Vantage, DBS Superleggera, and DB12, and will be powered by a V12 engine tied to a manual transmission.

Interest in the vehicle went through the roof as soon as it was released, and just two weeks after it was unveiled the Valour had all its production run spoken for. And that despite the prohibitive selling price, which rumors place it at least at $1.5 million.

The other major Aston Martin vehicle of the year, the DBX707, will also make the trip to Pebble Beach. Described as the world's most powerful SUV, the British gem is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 that pushes out 697 hp and 900 Nm of torque.

Aside from these three new and exciting vehicles, Aston Martin will also bring to the Pebble Beach table the DB12 and the AMR23 F1 car which so far has managed to place Fernando Alonso on the podium (third place) of the competition's drivers standings.

Cars aside, Aston Martin will bring in front of the public attending next week's events, for the first time, a virtual reality experience. Called Aston Martin Valhalla VR, the system was put together with help from Zerolight using Nvidia's CloudXR tech.

In a nutshell, the experience is centered around the hybrid supercar, allowing people to pull a VR headset over their heads and instantly be transported into a make-belief world where they can spec their Valhallas while moving around or even sitting in a virtual incarnation of one
