Moits Racing's Outlaw 10.5 Mustang is an impressively fast dragster that can be seen making 6-second quarter mile passes in Australia. The vehicle's latest run stopped the clock at just 6.13 seconds and 244 miles per hour, but this is video is more than just a fast vehicle running straight.
This spectacular Aussie racer and its driver, Paul Mouhayet, had to cope with something rather unusual on the drag strip, when a rear tire decided enough is enough and exploded at the end of the run. We've seen blown tires before, but this time it happened while the vehicle was running at 244 miles per hour (392.68). Usually, this kind of scenario has tragedy written all over it.

Fortunately enough, it wasn't the case for Mouhayet, who had time to release and chutes and avoid a heavy impact with the side walls. Although the dragster took a serious hit and will need a new carbon fiber body, Paul suffered minor injuries and should be back on track soon.
