If you’re looking for a sure-shot Xmas present or even a treat for yourself until premier class action returns in 2015, Milestone’s MotoGP14 video game might be just the thing you have been searching for. We’ve just spotted it on Steam with a killer 67% discount, so quick-handed readers will get a chance to have two-wheeled virtual fun AND save for other presents, as well.
Italian game designers Milestone have released the game in the summer, but the cold and cold turkey are only beginning, so we thought to remind you about it. Since Milestone is dead-serious about this game, you can have it on XBox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC, Steam included.

Plenty of fun for premier class racing enthusiasts around the world

MotoGP14 is available in English, French, Italian, German , Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, US English, and Polish, with Russian and Japanese to follow soon. You get riders from both the 2013 and 2014 season, plus some of the big names in the past, for a more comprehensive, fun dose of road racing action.

You can even download a Compact version of the game, which allows you to purchase a full version later, but if you move quickly, you can get the whole package for an awesome price.

Some further development may be needed

Now, what works well on a gaming console might not be exactly stellar when ported to the PC world. We took our time to surf through some of the comments the MotoGP14 game got on Steam… and we’ll let you be the judge.

It looks like the PC version of the game still requires pretty much the same degree of development the real-life MotoGP bikes do when it comes down to making up for the final couple of tenths of a second. Milestone has listed a patch on their website, but the generic impression was that MotoGP13 offered a much better gaming experience.

Now, since the gaming platforms are planning massive discounts this month, you may want to hunt some for your gaming device. The full price of €40 will not make you any richer or poorer and in the end, it’s all about finding a way to add some motorcycle racing action in your life until the real deal is back in the spring.
