A recall for (so far) 107 Moto Guzzi bikes has been issued in Canada.
The recall campaign has number 2013256 and it focuses on a problem which may occur in the rear suspension assembly. Namely, the double connecting rod may fail due to incorrect manufacturing.
The affected bikes are the 2013-2013 Moto Guzzi Stelvio NTX adventure machine, the Norge tourer and our favorite, the Griso street terror.
Moto Guzzi dealers will inspect the motorcycles and will replace the double connecting rod with new units complying to the safety standards. So if you live in Canada and you're throwing a leg over one of the new and very nifty bikes you've recently bought, you could pay your dealer a visit even before you receive the official call or email and have the mechanics check your rear suspension.
