The Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG is one of the most performance-oriented soccer mom SUVs you can currently buy. With a twin-turbocharged and direct injected V8 churning no less than 525 Horsepower and 700 Nm (516.3 lb ft) in its “mild” version, not accounting for the 557 hp Performance Package, you can rest assured you can't make a BMW X5 M run away from you on the Autobahn.
But what if you wanted even more power from your 500+ hp German SUV, along with a more individual look?
Well, this is the same question that a most likely Canadian ML 63 AMG owner asked himself. The peeps from Inspired Autosport were fortunately there to answer him, and the first result is simply the first step they took in a more extensive customization program they will eventually carry on the car.
Performance-wise, they added a RENNtech ECU upgrade on the engine, which instantly increased the V8's output to no less than 635 hp and 840 Nm (620 lb ft).
As far as the looks go, the ML 63 AMG now sits on a set of 22-inch PUR 4OUR Monoblock wheels which are painted in Matter Modern Black.
They say that the larger rims are actually lighter than the car's original 21-inch AMG wheels, while also providing a bigger footprint to help with traction. The next step in the currently on-going project will be to fit a Revozport carbon fiber bodykit, so stay tuned and we'll keep you updated on how it all goes.
