How bad can this huge wheel trend get? Very bad! People are turning excellent motors into useless toys that are only good for posing around town at very slow speeds. For instance, this used to be a very decent sportscar with style, but now it looks like something an 8-year old would think of.
While we were trying to figure out how the new Youtube works, we’ve stumbled upon another great project. It’s a Mitsubishi Eclipse on 30-inch wheels. Because those massive rims did not fit inside the body of the car, and so they did a bit of lateral thinking and lowered the suspension instead.
This is a second generation car, which means it left the factory with either a 2-liter 140 hp motor, a 2.4-liter or a 2-liter turbo. But the owner has apparently stuck something else, a V8, under the hood.
