Miss Evelyn's Wild Ride in a Camaro, Most-Watched Ever

Making an advertising campaign can prove difficult, as you have to consider the company’s brand image, what demographic segment you are targeting while also creating something that is not offensive. But sometimes a stroke of genius and a few cans of beer is all you need.

This might very well be the case with Chevrolet’s recent Super Bowl ad, the "Wild Ride" Chevrolet Camaro commercial (its official name is "Miss Evelyn").

According to The Nielsen Company, it could be the most-watched ad of all time with an estimated 119,628,000 viewers. We are not going to bore you with the details of who came second or third, instead we will remind you of the coolness of that video, which you can re-watch below.

As you may recall, two guys are trying to create their own Camaro commercial on the fly. This clip has everything: helicopters, a hot blond girl, motorcycles, a hot brunette, some car jumps, a hot redhead... you get the idea. If Megan Fox in Transformers wasn’t enough, this proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that girls and the Camaro mix very well.

“The Super Bowl continues to be the advertising industry’s premier event. No other event allows advertisers to reach nearly 120 million consumers at a single time. And with Super Bowl advertisers adding millions of commercial views through online and social media exposure, they are able to extend their multi-million dollar investments beyond the game itself,”
said Pat McDonough, Senior Vice President for Insights and Analysis at Nielsen.
