This year’s Dakar Rally belonged to MINI from day one. The various crews that entered the 2014 event using the already proven MINI ALL4 Racing cars managed to impress everyone, making for a one-two-three podium and bringing the British manufacturer its third title in 3 consecutive years.
Last year Stephane Peterhansel claimed the top spot on the podium, becoming the most successful driver ever in the Dakar Rally. This year, Nani Roma went first, closely followed by Stephane that only managed a second place. The third place went to another member of the MINI family, Al-Attiyah that was consistent throughout all of the 13 stages.

The Monster X-raid team put together a clip of Nani’s performance over the 9,374 km-long course with his ups and downs, from Rosario in Argentina to Valparaiso in Chile. This video is here to celebrate MINI excellency in Motorsport and this year’s victory.
