MINI Motor-Tober Celebration - Trick or Treat?

The American division of MINI has announced that its third annual Motor-Tober celebration has kicked off and will last throughout the entire month of October. MINI’s made-up holiday is, in fact, a new marketing campaign initiated by the renowned car brand, in order to attract more customers.

The marketing campaign features witty ads and new MINI gear to encourage test drives and events at dealerships nationwide, aggressive financing on all 2009 models as well as special lease pricing on select 2009 inventory.

“MINI wants to celebrate the ramp-up to the winter holiday season, which is usually a stressful time, and make it a time to thoroughly enjoy motoring,” said Jim McDowell, Vice President at MINI USA, in a statement for the press. “Nothing says exhilaration like getting behind the wheel of a MINI, and our Motor-Tober celebration encourages customers to do just that.”

Fun is not only thing that Americans will have from MINI, but through November 2, the company will also offer 1.9 percent financing for up to 60 months on the purchase of any new 2009 MINI vehicle. Moreover, lease rates as low as $259 per month will be available on select 2009 inventory.

MINI dealers all over the U.S. will join in the Motor-Tober spirit by hosting local test drive behind the wheel of the entire MINI lineup, including the Hardtop, Convertible and Clubman models.

And since Halloween is celebrated on October 31, there will even be Motor-Tober temporary tattoos and pumpkin-carving stencils available to visitors. However, hopefully MINI doesn't trick anybody ...
