After announcing new app integrations with the car’s systems, MINI doesn’t cease to amaze us. This time, they’re releasing a new app that’s acting as Cupid himself.
The Connect Us app is unlike any other dating service out there. Instead of using all the wrong criteria for selecting the best possible candidate for your heart, the MINI app uses your driving style to do so. The MINI Driving Excitement Analyser will be comparing your driving to other MINI drivers in your area in order to find perfect match.
Depending on how you like to treat your accelerator, steering wheel and brakes, the Connect Us app will try to find someone who likes the same things as your do, in matters related to driving. If the app detects two people that like almost the same thing (after analyzing their music collection and other relevant data) it will notify the lucky MINI owners and set up a meeting.
This seems to good to be true, in our opinion and we might be right. The Driving Excitement Analyser of the MINI Connected App has been available for several weeks, but this new app will only be available on April 1st. Some coincidence.
