Yesterday we showed a video with the MINI ALL4 Racing Countryman performing tests in the snow, with Spanish driver Nani Roma behind the wheel. As it turns out, the MINI crew also had a DSLR on the scene and took a bunch of photos of 3 ALL4 fitted cars.
Apart from the car that will enter the Dakar 2014 Rally, they also had a MINI Paceman and a MINI Countryman available for testing purposes and both were handed out to eleven-time Dakar Rally winner, Stephane Peterhansel.
The Frenchman want to achieve the magical hat-trick with MINI this year, a performance that the British could achieve since the 1960 Monte Carlo Rally where the original model made history.
In his endeavor, Stephane will be helped by the permanent AWD system, ALL4 that uses an electromagnetic centre differential and distributes drive force at continuously variable levels between the front and rear axle. The ALL4 system is available on 10 MINI models.
