On January 5th, 2014, the Dakar rally will be on its way, with the first car leaving the starting line behind. With a course set across Argentina, Bolivia and Chile, this year’s edition is already looking promising.
Following up on last year’s success in the international competition, MINI models will, once again, be entering the rally, looking for the win. The Monster Energy X-raid Team with the legendary Stephane Peterhansel are all in, trying to secured another trophy.
However, they won’t be the only people using a MINI. Take a look on the competing team and you’ll notice that 10 other teams went for the same choice, proving, once again, that the racing DNA is all but gone from the British cars.
