MINI Countryman Australian Pricing Revealed

MINI’s Australian arm today announced the pricing for the Countryman, a model that has already gathered a huge fanbase, being scheduled to arrive in Australia in late February. The company also confirmed that an oil-burning version of the car, which will use a 115 hp 1.6 liter turbo-diesel powerplant, will be available starting from March production.

Heralding a new chapter in the evolution of MINI, the Countryman is more than four metres long with four doors, four seats (or five if required) and a four wheel drive option called “ALL4” to extend the MINI driving excitement off road,” a company release reads.

The MINI Countryman for the first time combines the unique handling of a MINI with the variable space and versatility of a four-door, plus the supreme traction of a Sports Activity Vehicle optimised by optional all-wheel drive.

The MINI Cooper Countryman will come with a starting price of AU$37,700, while the Cooper S Countryman will start at AU$47,500 and the four-wheel-drive Cooper S ALL4 will be offered for a starting price of AU$50,400. As for the Mini Cooper D Countryman, this will start at AU$40,950.

The vehicle offers multiple standard safety features, including DSC Dynamic Stability Control, a high-load-resistant body structure, six airbags, three-point inertia-reel seat belts on all seats and a Tyre Defect Indicator.

The Countryman is versatile enough to accommodate any lifestyle while retaining the sense of fun that makes all MINIs so good to drive and enjoyable to own,” said MINI Australia National Manager, David Woollcott.
