MINI is expanding the abilities of the MINI Connected app through the release of a new version that includes a fresh Driving Excitement mode. Basically, we are talking about a set of goodies that are designed to strengthen the bond between the driver and the car.
We’ll start with the bit we like the most, the Force Meter. This is MINI’s version of a feature that becoming widespread in the performance vehicle’s world. It’s an app that allows the driver to see longitudinal and lateral G forces.
In addition to that, you can monitor a lot of the car’s parameters thanks to the new MINI Connected, such as the instant engine output, RPM, engine temperature and so on. In order to enjoy the app, you have to install it on your iPhone and connect this to the car.
“The new MINI Connected app underlines once again the leading role of the British premium small car manufacturer in the intelligent link-up of the driver, car and outside world. Like the preceding versions of the MINI Connected app, the latest update is uploaded into the car via the iPhone,” a company statement reads.
