Michael Phelps Pimps His Rides

After wrecking his Cadillac Escalade in a car crash two months ago, Olympic gold medal winner Michael Phelps seems to be looking for a new ride. Pretty undecided though, as he was snapped with several cars, from SUVs to convertibles.

The 23-year-old American athlete paid a couple of visits to the No Limit aftermarket shop, located in Baltimore, Maryland, in Phelps’ hometown...Likely to find ways to ‘pimp his rides’.

He was photographed there first next to his Mercedes Benz SL63 convertible and then with a black Mercedes SL SUV, both vehicles being parked outside the aftermarket shop. Interesting enough, the name of the shop is extremely similar to the one of the books written by the American swimmer, namely ‘No Limits: The Will To Succeed.’

... and Phelps’ own garage seems to have no limits as well, as he was recently spotted with a BMW 7 Series. The latest addition to his four-wheeled collection also appears to have paid a visit to the aftermarket shop, or at least this is what the new set of wheels show.

However, after Michael’s not-so-clean behind-the-wheel history, it’s probably just a matter of time until we hear from him again...

In November 2004, Phelps was arrested for driving under the influence in Maryland. He pleaded guilty to the  DUI charges the following month and was granted probation before judgment. Michael was ordered to serve 18 months' probation, fined $250, forced to speak to high school students about drinking and driving and had to attend a Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) meeting.
