The Chinese car market is filed with slightly different version of cars we all know and love. For example, both the BMW 3-Series (F30) and Audi A6 come with long wheelbase versions that you’re unlikely to see anywhere else in the world.
Mercedes meanwhile offers the E-Class L, also a stretched version of the standard sedan. It’s produced in China by the Beijing-Benz joint venture.

Following the launch of the new E-Class this year, the domesticated, stretched E-Class facelift will go on sale in China during the first half of 2013. It will be available with the existing E200L, E260L and E300L powertrains, likely to be joined by the E400L offering a V6 engine.

As you can see, styling changes include the same revised single-unit headlights, new grille, hood and bumpers.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
